Story:
Camila presents for therapy because of a general hopelessness and desperation she feels as a result of the emotional and mental problems she is experiencing. She reports that her life had been steady and fulfilling for many years, but now she is dealing with periodic episodes of low mood, overwhelming depression, and crippling helplessness. Her despair is apparent as she pleads for help with her condition and confides that she has been increasingly considering suicide. By observing Camila during the session and making notes of her expressions, mannerisms, and speech, viewers are given the information needed to decide what her diagnosis may be.
